But you kept encouraging me and now with the Piloxing given me a place where I can 'dance'. You are a lovely person with a beautiful heart and I feel  lucky to have met you.  Martin thank you for helping Harley (son) to develop survival skills that he will have for life.  You are a hero in his eyes.

I trained with Martin for almost a year before he moved away, and whilst I must admit the sessions can be challenging, it was indeed one of the highlights of my week.  Martin is the most experienced personal trainer I have worked with and has an incredible knowledge of the human body and how it operates.  He designed a program for me based on the goals I wanted to achieve, while also being mindful of injuries and back issues I had suffered from in the past, and incorporated exercises to ensure these problems wouldn't return.

The sessions might be hard work but they are also fun with Martin's wide range of jokes and stories always there to cheer you on through the sweat and occasional tears! If you are wanting to improve your health & fitness in a safe and experienced environment, as well as having fun doing it, then PT on the Run is definitely for you.  Natalie Edwards (Reporter)

For the past couple of years I have been training with a Personal Trainer, Martin Howden.  I have Myotonic Dystrophy, a muscle degenerative condition.  I was finding my level of confidence was suffering and I was becoming less active as I once had been.  With Martin's knowledge and expertise I have regained some of my confidence and become more active.  I also look forward to the many challenges that Martin presents me with, knowing that if I say I can't do something, we will keep practising it until I can.  Because of Martin's motivation and perseverance I can now do many things I never thought I would be able to do.

Martin is very dedicated and even made the effort to research my condition before he began training me and has ongoing discussions with my Physiotherapist. Libby
